City Highlights [ Education ]:

 Solapur is an old centre of education in the State of Maharashtra. It provides education through reputed English Medium Schools and a number of vernacular schools for the children.

There are Eight Colleges in Arts, Science and Commerce faculties for higher education.

Solapur also has an Engineering College, a Medical College and a Pharmacy college too.
