Mario Kempes

Mario Kempes was born in Bell Ville, Argentina on Jul. 15, 1954. As a famous footballer of Argentina football team, the peak of his playing career is in the Argentina side, winning numerous honor and trophies for Argentina. Affected by his farther, Mario Kempes started his playing career when he was young. As a member of Valencia, Mario Kempes acted as a prolific goal-scorer, winning the titles of La Liga for two times and scoring 116 goals in 184 League games for the club.

Kempes was also the core of Argentina national football team at international competitions, winning the Golden Boot as the top goal-scorer. As a Golden Ball and Golden Boot winner, he became the third one won all three awards at a Single World Cup, following Garrincha and Paolo Rossi.
