Hugo Sánchez

Hugo Sánchez was born in Mexico City, Mexico on Jul. 11, 1958. As a child of a family of players, he decided to become a professional players to lift himself out of poor when he was young. After four-year diligent practices, his ability on football has made great progress. Soon after, he become a member of the Mexico national football team. As a retired footballer and coach of the Mexico squad, he played as a striker and a prolific goal-scorer. Sánchez was taken as one of the Mexico greatest footballers for strike and volleys.

In 1976, Sánchez started his playing career as a member of Club Universidad Nacional. After this stage, he transferred to Atlético Madrid and played for the Colchoneros in 1981. He spent the golden era of his playing career in Real Madrid, achieving numerous honor and trophies. Sánchez scored 29 goals at 58 matches, turning to the excellent goal-scorer from 1977 to 1944. Under his help, the Mexico national football team entered into the quarter-finals of the 1986 World Cup.
